Entrepreneurs wishing to start a new business or buy an existing one in Ontario should look at the business category.

How can I apply for the PNP in Ontario?

You can apply for the Ontario PNP in one of several ways.

There are two options. These are the following:

1st path

• Step 1:

Learn about the eligibility requirements for various immigration programs.

• Step 2:

Decide which road to immigration is best for you.

• Step 3:

Complete and submit an EOI (Expression of Interest) form to the OINP.

2nd path

• Step 1:

Review the Express Entry eligibility requirements.

• Step 2:

Create an Express Entry profile on your My CIC account.

• Step 3:

Make a mental note of the job seeker validation code as well as the Express Entry profile number.

To be eligible for OINP express entry immigration programs, you must meet the following criteria:

Federal Skilled Worker Program: Canadian Experience Class (CEC) (FSWP)

Your application is accepted into the Express Entry pool of candidates.

• Step 6:

The province conducts a search for qualified people.

• Step 7:

If you are qualified, you will be given a NOI (Notification of Interest).

• Step 8:

Within 45 days, submit your application to the OINP.

• Step 9:

You will receive an email confirmation after submitting your application.

• Step 10:

If you are chosen, you will receive the following:

Wait for the nomination from the provincial government.

If your application is approved, you will get a Certificate of Nomination from the OINP.

You must file a permanent residency application.

Citizenship and Immigration Canada (CIC) must receive it within 6 months.

A certificate of nomination from the province

Letter of support for a work permit
