Skills Immigration Draws of British Columbia

A combination of the following factors is likely to be the basis for targeted ITAs to the categories for skilled immigration:

  • Education: level, the field of study, and location of where it was completed
  • Language skills
  • Occupation
  • Duration of employment and work experience
  • Occupation pay and/or skill level job offered
  • Want to work, live, and establish oneself in a particular area

Strategic priorities: factors that take into account specific BC labor market needs. Or support government initiatives and pilot projects.
